HOPE – The Philadelphia Multiple Myeloma Networking Group Mambos for Myeloma during Multiple Myeloma Awareness Month ~ March 14, 2015
OUR MISSION ~ Philadelphia Multiple Myeloma Networking Group’s (PMMNG) mission is to be an ongoing resource for myeloma patients, their families and friends.
~ Provide up-to-date information, about the disease and its treatment options
~ Collect and maintain a library of information on resources for medical, financial & counseling needs
~ Provide members with monthly newsletter via email or US mail
~ Sponsor fundraising events (Miles for Myeloma 5K) http://philadelphia.myeloma.org/miles…
~ Offer support, shared experiences and hope
WHO WE ARE ~ The PMMNG was formed in 1995, and is a diverse group of myeloma patients, their caregivers and support persons.
From an original meeting around a kitchen table, the founding members led the organization to find more appropriate meeting space, an experienced group facilitator and many more members.
We currently have over 200 members, many of whom are 15+ year myeloma survivors. There is GREAT HOPE!
PMMNG meets on the Second Saturday of Every Month, 1:30-3:30 p.m. @ RALSTON HOUSE, 3615 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA (Near Univ. of Pennsylvania Campus)
