March is Myeloma Action Month. I am writing to you today as the spouse of a patient and for the approximately 90,000 people in the U.S. living with Multiple Myeloma. I am writing to ask for your help. This year, the International Myeloma Foundation is working to raise awareness about Myeloma among general practitioners and intemists. Although myeloma is the second most common blood cancer, it can go undiagnosed until it begins to seriously damage health, as this is what happened to my husband.
