Jenny Hack had a very active life as a mother, grandmother of seven, wife, and manager of a doctor’s office, when, in 2011, her life changed. What she thought was anemia was, instead, diagnosed as stage 3 myeloma, a cancer she had never heard of. She entered a clinical trial, and today notes the positive things that have come out of her journey. Jenny is grateful to her husband Bill, who is her rock, support, and caregiver.  She has also found her voice. Through the IMF, she raises awareness of myeloma and advocates for clinical trials.

“If you have any questions, call the IMF. Go on the IMF website; you could ask questions right there! Don’t go to older websites that will scare you [with] old, old, old material!”
